Morgan James II is an 11 metre South Boat Catamaran purpose built for angling and powered by two 300hp Cummins engines capable of 26 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 18 knots.

She is fully equipped with all the latest electronics and safety gear and licensed for up to 60 miles day or night. On deck she is fitted out with 2 live bait tanks, insulated fish hold for the 2 - 5 day Isle of Man trips, bait cutting tables and easy access toilet.

We also carry our own sand eel trawl.

Morgan James II is owned and skippered by Andrew Owen who is a qualified Yachtmaster and a very keen angler with over 30 years experience fishing in the waters around the Lleyn Peninsula, Bardsey Island, Anglesey and the wrecks in the Irish Sea.

Depending on the type of fishing you require Andrew is able to fish out of Holyhead or Caernarfon.

Winter fishing is out of Holyhead where the inshore wrecks have proved exceptional for Conger.

In the summer the fishing concentrates on the offshore wrecks in St. Georges Channel and the reefs and banks off Anglesey and again out of Holyhead. If it is Bass, Tope or Bream you are after then the fishing centres around the Lleyn Peninsula where you will sail out of Caernarfon.
